I feel so awkward doing this.

3.26 GPA/165 LSAT
Virginia resident
Military spouse
Multilingual
Americorps experience
Legal Assistant with JAG
International refugee experience (teaching/organizing ESL course)
One strong LOR, I still haven't found the other (I may use my JAG supervisor)

I'm looking at
UVA (Early)
William & Mary
UGA
Vanderbilt
Emory
WUSTL
UTenn-Knoxville (back up)

Are you at 165 or 173? Big difference.

I'm 3.3/172 (3rd try), Peace Corps, etc etc. I was accepted with a good scholly at WUSTL and waitlisted at UVA. You can check my LSN for other schools.

Fixed, but out of curiosity, were you a VA resident? I'd really like to stay in the state (hence W&M and UVA), but I've had my fill of DC for a long while.

Out at Vandy and UVA. Most likely out at Emory (likes 166+) and WUSTL (likes 167+). W&M is iffy, as is Georgia since you're out-of-state. You should be good at UTK, though.

I recommend you retake the LSAT. Raising your score by even 1 point will get you Emory; if you raise it by 2+, you're looking at $$ at some really good T1 schools.

Yeah, I hate George Mason (with a passion). Family bias, if you will. There's also the fact that W&M is much better academically and professionally standing in the state, and I'd get the added bonus of living with my partner once he returns from his deployment, which was something we weren't planning on at first.
And I'll be retaking in October, so that should help me some though I don't want to jinx myself. And out of curiosity, how much does legacy count? My dad's an Emory Law alum.
