166 and 3.475

I'm retaking in Feb. My pretests are 169-172. One lower and a couple higher. My GPA is trending upward. Softs aren't impressive by any means and I'm a white male. What do you think my chances are assuming my LSAT stays the same and assuming a shift of around 3-5 pts. I've checked LSN and LSP but I was hoping to see some real people's results instead of a "71% at or below" at blah blah University.
p.s. I broke my jaw 3 days before the 166 so I think my addendum will make that OK if I score at least 3 pts higher.
Here's my list:
Northwestern
Illinois
Notre Dame
Indiana - Bloomington
Ohio State
Cincy
backups:
Chicago - Kent
Loyola - Chicago
Indiana - Indianapolis
Any help and scholarship info from people with 166/3.5 or 169-171/3.5 would be greatly appreciated.

The difference between 169 and 172 is very large in admissions.

And, for NW too happen, you'll have to have legitimate work experience, which you seem to imply is not the case.

Yeah, I figured NW was a long shot unless I get somewhere around 172. I was mostly wondering about Illinois, IU and OSU assuming my LSAT doesn't change by more than 3 or 4.

With current stats:
Northwestern- OUT
Illinois- WL/Out
Notre Dame- WL/Out
Indiana - Bloomington- In, $?
Ohio State- In, $
Cincy- $
backups:
Chicago - Kent- $$
Loyola - Chicago- $$
Indiana - Indianapolis- $$$
With a 169:
Northwestern- Out
Illinois- $$
ND- $
IU- Full ride or WL for YP
OSU- $$$
Cincy- $$$
Don't bother with the T2s in that case.

If you get a 170+, You should ED UVA if you don't mind paying sticker, otherwise blanket MVP down and you'll have nice offers from T30s and admissions from the lower T14.

I have to send my apps in before I know my Feb LSAT results so I'll have already applied to the T2s. BTW what does YP mean?

Yield Protect

Yield protection. For example, I had a 3.66/168 and was WL by IU (not to mention that it took them 5 months to give me a decision)...but people with lower numbers consistently get full rides. I am sure that if you convince them you really want to go, you can get in off the WL, but I'm not sure about money in that situation. By the time I got my decision, I didn't care.

Real Question: How'd you break your jaw?

Considering the late app, the only T14 you would have a great shot at would be if you ED UVA right after the Feb. scores come out. But it seems as if you want the Chicago market, so in that case I might wait a year, get WE, and reapply...you could only apply to NU, UIUC, and maybe ND or IU. You'd probably have close to a full ride from UIUC with a 170s score, so you could choose between that and NU sticker.

Playing flag football the Wednesday before the Oct 10th test. I dove to knock down the ball and a teammate kicked me below the ear. Split a wisdom tooth and broke the jawbone. Had it wired shut for 3 weeks.
