I have a 3.49 cumulative GPA, and a 3.89 from my University (4.0 in my major).
167 on LSAT. What are my chances at Loyola Law School's part time evening program?

And of course, I have to ask:

Is it crucial that you attend in 2011, and not 2012?

I can answer any questions you have about Loyola. Why are you thinking about the evening program? You could probably get a nice scholarship ($87,000) to the day program.

I guess its not, but since I am already in at a few other schools, I started thinking about the schools I didn't apply to at first (like LMU) and decided to put in my app. It's so hard because I have gone back and forth about making the move to LA, and I still don't know if I could do it. I have school loans from my undergrad that will come due if I am not taking classes, so that is one consideration.

Also, to answer the other poster's question, full time really isn't an option since I have two kids under four and am a single mom. I still don't know quite how I'll manage part time to be honest.

Southwestern has a part time day program (PLEAS) that is specifically targeted at single parents.

it's decent. Many have the notion that southwestern and loyola are sibling schools, but this is simply not the case.

Loyola is better school overall and has an Entertainment Law Review. Southwestern has significantly more resources dedicated to entertainment law (more courses, faculty). You can take copywrite as a 1L at Southwestern.

Depends on what is important to you. I would say Southwestern has a more serious commitment to entertainment law. If you want to publish an article on EL, come to Loyola and work on the ELR. If you want to work for a studio after 1L, go to Southwestern and suck up to Professor Lind.
