Wondering what my chances are in the top 25. I just finished everything up. I had to wait for my Dec LSAT as my October score was a 153 (I was sick and bombed it hard).

GPA is 3.55 with a strong upward trend after freshmen year.

Softs: Coming out of undergrad w/ double major. 2 internships, one held from sophomore year through senior year. Played college hockey, and 2 student orgs. Non-URM.

Michigan
Virginia
Duke
NU
GULC
Cornell
UCLA
WUSTL
Vandy
USC
BU

Thanks

Have you already applied? If so, when? If not, are you asking for this cycle? Next?

This would change things quite a bit.

ay, that GPA hurts for T14, Vandy and UCLA... USC, Cornell, WUTSL possible though

I'd say you have a good chance @ BU too.

Do yourself a favor and apply next year. Early. And get some WE, it'll help you at NU.

This cycle. I applied to all of these the middle of this month.

I'm not opposed to reapplying next cycle with w/e, not to mention I can probably raise my GPA to above 3.6 in my last semester. With the higher GPA and Work Exp, could I be looking at CCN territory?

not really. the LSAT poses a problem for CCN. With your numbers, with a GPA raise, I would blanket MVP and below, hope for a bite :|

Would EDing to one of them help this guy out?

You're definitely into WUSTL. Even if your GPA were to drop I think you'd get in. I got in immediately after I applied with a 169 and a 3.05 and on LSN it's clear they're down for LSATs over 167 unless there is some huge weird issue.

No, CCN isn't happening, not unless you retake and get 173+. Right now, Michigan is a possibility, but not a strong one. Probably would need an ED early next cycle. Cornell would probably happpen, UVA, Duke, GULC, and NU are not happening. UCLA is iffy. The rest of the schools on your list are pretty much targets.

If you can get to 170, ED'ing at UVA seems to work for a lot of people
