Not sure what you would expect anyone to say. It's late in the cycle now, you can throw some more apps to safety schools, and you can use lawschoolpredictor as a guide.

are you saying you'll think i won't get into any? which schools do you think are definitely out, and which ones are still possibilities?

You should be in at the T2s and Maryland...probably out at BU and WashU, but you might have a chance at BC and GWU...average chance at Fordham or slightly below average.

The only schools on your list worth going to are BC, BU, and GW. You are likely out at BU and GW. You have a slim shot at BC, but it's really not an attractive option at sticker. The best thing you could do for yourself would be to retake the LSAT and apply early next cycle.

Maryland could be worth going to if you want to work in Baltimore.

Re: 163 3.88 - helppp!
Hey just wanted to tell you about my experience last cycle....
Non-URM, 162, 3.92 (from school that isn't well known), applied in beginning of January
GW: in
American: in
Pepperdine: in
Emory: w/l, in
UVA: w/l (not a VA resident which matters b/c they are required by law to have large percentage of in-staters)
Miami: in
Notre Dame: w/l
Vanderbilt: w/l
William & Mary: w/l
Wake Forest: in
UNC: w/l (not a NC resident which is basically all they care about)
I didn't write follow-ups to any of the schools I got waitlisted at, but think I might have been able to get into a few of them if I had. A LOT of people who got waitlisted at those schools and wrote follow-ups (basically telling the school it was their first choice) were accepted. Schools are waitlisting a TON of people these days because LSAC has made it so easy to apply to multiple schools so the schools aren't quite sure how many people who apply are actually serious about their school. The schools want to keep their selectivity numbers, so they would rather admit fewer people and take more from the W/L. I would encourage you to apply to more places (if it's financially possible for you) because I was very surprised at how well I did and my LSAT was even lower than yours.

If you're a non-URM, why does your profile say you are?

Re: 163 3.88 - helppp!
that is so helpful, thank you so much!
all of my applications are in, i'll be sure to write letters to any schools that waitlist me absolutely because i really do not want to take the LSAT again or wait another year, but i'm assuming if i don't hear good news from some of the top schools that might have to be what i do.
i really really appreciate you giving me those schools, it makes me a bit more hopeful at least!

My whole profile was intentionally misleading because pre-applications I was super paranoid about people knowing who I was. Actually changed it while you were posting that!
