2.8/156?
Do you guys think I have any chance of making a school near the bottom 100? I'm thinking of applying to Miami, West Virginia, Seton Hall, Catholic, Syracuse, Hofstra, and Rutgers. If I get into any of those I'd accept. I've been out of school for 1.5 years now and have been working so I'm hoping that will help me.

The 156 might put you in the running at many of those if your GPA was higher.
You will need a strong application for any and all of those, but I'd try it out as it's worth a shot.

You might want to rethink applying to those schools. Read this and think about what you're getting yourself into: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/09/busin ... wanted=all
Retake the LSAT. 156, especially with a 2.8, isn't going to get you into any schools worth attending.

agreed. I was staring at a similiar situation after I took the Sep09 LSAT. No school really worth going to with those numbers is available to you and if it is, you will be paying sticker which is a horrible idea.
Study for a retake. I bumped my score by 10 points and now the set of schools I'm looking at is much more appealing than Miami @ 175k debt or a similiar T3
