I applied and was admitted into U of H last year with a 161 and 3.93. I applied for fulll time, but I'm guessing the admission standards for part time are probably comparable or a little lower. I'd say you have good chances. I'm sure you're an auto admit at South Texas. Good luck!

U of H is obviously the better school. I think it's smart to not pay full tuition to go to South Texas right now in this economy. I have known lawyers who graduated from South Texas who are doing quite well, but it seems like a huge gamble considering the expense and its overall lackluster reputation. Hopefully your company will pay for you to go to U of H. That would be a truly worthwhile investment IMO.
