I will be retaking my LSAT February.
I'm looking at Florida or other Southeastern region schools. I feel like I've hit a brick wall.

I wouldnt waste the money with that LSAT (said as friendly as possible). Retake and try again. What kind of URM?

Per TLS

American Indians/Alaskan Natives, African Americans/Blacks, Mexican Americans, and Puerto Ricans are typically considered URM’s. Please note that there is a difference between Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and other types of Hispanics in the admissions process. Additionally, I would like to offer a small caveat to international students, who fall into a separate category of their own.

Thanks. I'll withdraw my current applications then.

Don't withdraw your apps! Now that you've sent them in it's worth riding out the cycle and seeing what happens :)

Depends on the school. Crazier things have happened.

Michigan State will take you. MIGHT have a shot at UM. Outside of that, I UF, FSU are the only schools worth going to in FL. Just retake and get to a 155.

Sorry for that advice, I was under the impression that you were considering applying, not that you had already applied. If you already spent the money on apps, theres no reason to not see what happens

Do you have a history of poor standardized test taking? If you still have apps to submit, add that in your addendum plus a copy of your SAT or whatever that may help prove you're telling the truth. I've always been TERRIBLE at standardized tests and that was proven once I got LSAT score back and scored 10pts below my average on practice tests. :( I'm STILL going to apply this round and if nothing, I'll try again next fall. Really, all you have to lose is money and some time (during which you can get more volunteer experience and stuff under your belt).

I'm also an URM- Chiricahua Apache, Mexican, Cambodian and English (yes, I know English doesn't count) and will totally use that to my advantage as best I can. You should, too. Good luck!
