I'd like to get your opinion on whether combo of 168/3.57 will get me into these schools. If not, how much higher should the LSAT score be to break the threshold?

I would hope that you'd have a good chance with these numbers, because mine are close to yours and I've applied to a couple of these schools as well.

Are you considering taking a year off to improve your LSAT score?

You're in everywhere except for Georgetown I think. If you get a 170+, I'd think you're in at Georgetown too. However, with a 170+, you're probably also in at MVP.

I think you have a decent shot, but a 170+ would probably get you in to all those schools. I'm sure you have, but check LSP or LSN

UCLA might be difficult with your lower GPA, especially because your LSAT is only right on median.

I've still got a year to apply, but the numbers are pretty much what I'll finish undergrad (this spring) with. I took the previous december LSAT, but cancelled the score. 168 is around what i'm generally scoring on practice diags these days--breaking that 170 mark is a total bitch

Should get Boston. Probably out at Georgetown (their LSAT median is 170) and UCLA (they like high GPAs). Maybe Cornell, but the odds aren't good IMO (below GPA median, just at LSAT median).

In_to_win, sorry to jump in on your thread, but we have the same score, and I have a question about some of the GPA info here. I have a 3.96 GPA; do you think this would change admissions likelihood a lot for the OP's list of schools and for MVP or Berkeley?

I didn't apply until around the New Year and I still got in to most places I applied to with scholarships. If you can apply earlier than I did, you'll be in even better shape. Best of luck, you'll do great with those scores!

Cornell - Waitlist
Georgetown - Reject
UCLA - Waitlist
BU - In

Nearly the same numbers last cycle. Didn't apply to UCLA or BU, but got WL (regular) from GULC and reserved at Cornell. Numbers/decisions in profile.

Based on my cycle (which had similar numbers):

Cornell - Maybe
GTown - No
UCLA - Probably not
Boston - Maybe

UCLA is a GPA fiend, and GTown likes 170+ LSAT scores. Cornell and Boston U would be your best bets of these four as your numbers currently stand. If you want to improve your chances by any noticeable amount, you'll need to hit at least 170. This would improve your chances everywhere, but most noticeably at GTown. I would also recommend maybe expanding your pool, since four schools isn't many; especially since none of them are sure things.

Definitely. That would probably get you all of OP's schools and one or more of MVPB

I have almost the exact same numbers.

Cornell- Still waiting
GULC- Rejected
UCLA- Accepted
BU- Accepted with 60k merit
