What are my chances at Miami, American, GWU, and other DC area schools?

I have strong softs...5 years work experience as a journalist in NY and DC.

The GPA will prob hold me back most places, however I'm hoping the work experience will help.

What do you think? Thanks.

You're pretty much out at all of them.

With 5 years work experience & a 163 LSAT score, you should apply to Miami & American. It is difficult to predict your results because of the significant separation from your poor GPA performance.
