I'm going to start applying next week. I am a former homeless person who graduated from college early and I have four years of work experience. I'm an African American male. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you in advance!

Well, you have a lot going for you in the way of softs. Your URM boost in conjunction with your life experiences will play very well. However, URM cycles are incredibly unpredictable, so don't put to much stock in LSP. If you could retake the LSAT for a 160+ you will be in very good shape. If you apply now and do not retake it's anybodys guess as to how your cycle will turn out; though you would be much better off with a 160. Good luck.

Thanks. I honestly believe that the score that I received was my best effort. Retaking doesn't seem like a viable option as this is my second time taking the exam. I'm not a great test-taker. Will I be able to get into any law school of quality?

Try to get an LSAC fee waiver and apply to as many schools as you can. I don't know that you will break into the T14 with a 151. So your best bet will probably be to look for a full ride at a lower ranked school. Do your research and see what happens.
