3.79/166 (extremely diverse but not URM, compelling PS, great LOR's, decent softs)

UCLA
USC
Loyola (LA)
Berkeley
Fordham
Cardozo
Cornell
Georgetown (PT)
GW
BU
BC

I also applied to a few major reaches and a few major safeties. Mostly concerned with above schools....

Thank you!!! :D

You're probably in at most of those, tbh. Cornell and G'town will be tough, but you aren't "auto-ding" by any means. I would say you are very unlikely at Berkeley, though; primarily because they like high GPAs.

Thanks, Shooter. That's good news. Really hoping for UCLA!

I don't think that's a good assessment. Berkeley: No, UCLA: No, Cornell: Doubt it, Gerogetown (PT): Maybe, USC: 33/66 No, GW: 33/66 No, BC or BU: 50/50, Fordham: 80/20 yes, Others: Admit with Scholly

I have similar numbers, bit higher gpa and I got into GW so you will probably get in there also. I would guess that BU and BC let you in for sure but i'm not an expert or anything, no idea about the other ones. Good Luck!

I'm not one who pushes the re-take idea(but it may be worth a shot anyway) especially since 166 is very good score. However, re-take or not it maybe wise to wait until next cycle, early applications will give you a better shot at your borderline/reach schools. Good Luck with the cycle(Especially Cornell thats what I am preying for depending on my LSAT score)

Honestly you are almost for sure out of berk, cornell, and gt. Ucla is probably out, but below that you have decent chances

Since you are only applying to Georgetown's part-time program, I think that your chances are reasonable. If you have a compelling background story or driving interest in a particular Berkeley strength, then apply even though your chances are diminished by the lateness of your application. Your reaches are reasonable, in my opinion. The only way to get a definitive response is to apply & wait for the results.

Alexandra,

I have almost the exact same numbers as yours (also very diverse but not URM), and I've just been admitted this week to both Berkeley and UCLA (both with some money). I think your chances are decent if you have great softs.

ThinAir,

That is such great news (for you and me both)! Congrats on the acceptances!! When did you go complete? Have you heard from anywhere else?

Wow, you really think OP only has a 1/3 shot at GW?

EDIT: looked up GW on lsn again, its pretty staggering actually the difference between a 166 and a 168 there. I'm 168 / 3.37 and thinking for me its about a 50-50 shot.

I applied to Berkeley and UCLA in November, but I took the Dec LSAT. My application for Berkeley went complete on 10Jan after Dec LSAT results came out. I actually got the call from Berkeley on the 13th, but I just received the email this week. UCLA called this week. I haven't heard from anyone else yet, but I think Berkeley is my best bet. Best of luck to you.

Take a year off and apply early next cycle. You should get at least one of Cornell, GT, UCLA.
