Top Law Schools

I retook the December LSAT, so still waiting on that score. I'm thinking I got anything between a 160-165 (I know, +5 makes a big difference in that area).

But looking at my scores now, what do you think is the best school I could get into?

Don't apply this cycle. Retake in June and aim for 170+. Apply early next cycle.

164 and up t30 is reasonable. 160-163 t50 is a good shot. Sit out and shoot for that 170 is the best bet tho

Even if you did, retaking and applying next cycle is a much better option.

160 - Too late.

165 - Too late for the vast majority of the T-25. You'd probably get in to at least one of WUSTL, UIUC, Emory, Minn, and ND, but your chances of receiving money would be slim. You'd have a good shot at the rest of the T-50 though.

Once again, I'd like to stress the importance of retaking and applying early next cycle. Study hard, get a 170+, and you'll get into the bottom half of the T-14 (with $) with a decent shot at a T-6.

Did you apply anywhere yet?

Yes. I applied to a couple of schools, but my applications are all on hold because of my dec lsat.

Also, I'm generally a bad standardized test taker. And I was PT 162-167 before the dec lsat.
