LSDAS GPA

How do you calculate your LSDAS GPA if your school doesn't award A+'s? My school grades on a 4.0 scale, and anything 95 and above is an A. I have a 3.95 GPA under this system, but I have always received A's even when my average in the class was a 100.

1) It doesn't matter than you can't get A+, you still just get an A.
2) Any class you can get a 100 is a joke and therefore you should be a B, but really it is still an A.

If it's an A on your transcript then LSAC calculates it as an A.

Thank you Bildungsroman. I don't know why some people have to be so rude.

B/c kids are hiding behind computer screens so everyone thinks they can be a twat. Welcome to TLS.
But, yeah, if your school didn't give out A+'s (like every normal school on the planet) you're shit outta luck like the rest of us. Sorry.

My intro to microeconomics class had multiple choice and mathematical short answer and I didn't get a single question wrong. And we had an extra credit assignment that I did. I wish we had A+ in that class. The class average (or median I don't remember) was a 82 = B-

No exam should allow for 100%.

Even a math based exam? I'll give you that MC is TTT but with math based questions if you get it right, then you got it right

I can buy this for essay tests though.

MC is TTT.
If a test gives someone a 100% it was too easy. Though occasionally a good student might get one, it shouldn't happen on every test in that course.

I'm pretty sure most of TLS would act similarly if they fielded just as many dumb questions irl.

I meant in general. DF wasn't even really being "rude" as the OP claimed, just making a jab at the school/classes. Not to mention the fact that even somebody with 0 posts is capable of using the search function.

A lot of tests are curved. If the test is hard enough that they curve an "A" to be, say 86 out of 100, and you got 99 or 100 out of 100, yea, I say you deserve an "A+"

Sounds like my microeconomics class, except I missed a test (1 of 4) and got a 75%.

I have just started using this site, and I now understand why so many people think lawyers are jerks. Thank you for the people that have actually answered my questions without the need to jab at my inexperience/ignorance.
For the record, I went to the University of Notre Dame. Yes, it is possible to get 100s in classes. I was referring to one class out of my entire academic career to give an example so I could get my question adequately answered.
Yes, I know how to use the search function, but I must have missed the answer amongst the thousands of posts on here.
I appreciate the people who have tried to help me instead of trying to make me feel bad for asking a question.

UND is the most overrated school of all time.
