Deferred NYU ED candidate

This is just a guess, but I would imagine ED is a little different for URM candidates. I think you still have a shot if NYU finds itself at the end of the cycle with too few better qualified MA/hispanic candidates.
Keep doing what your doing though, sounds like all of the right stuff.
