Top Law Schools

I don't know where to put this so I'll put it here. I received a 168 LSAT and have maintained a 3.65 during my jr and half way through my senior year. However, my LSAC cumulative is a 3.25. I just received my grades for my first semester of my senior year and received a 3.7. Is there any way I could add these grades to my already submitted applications? Would it be worth it if I could?

Yes you can send in updated transcripts.

Yes it is worth it because it went up. but it probably won't change anything considering your GPA will still be relatively low.

Curious... what are the procedures for this you send in your new to LSAC transcripts and then what? How do you get that info to Law Schools?

I don't remember but I think you can send them to LSAC and they will send the new ones to the schools or you can send them directly to the schools yourself, but don't quote me on this.

Print out the LSAC transcript form from their website and check the "Updated Transcript" box. Go into your registrars office and have them send it off with the LSAC cover sheet, just as you did your first one.

I'm sorta wondering if I should send an update. I don't want to waste the adcomms' time, since my gpa would only go up from a 3.87 to a 3.88, and won't move me on any medians. However, it will be my fifth 4.0 semester in a row. is this worth letting schools know?

Why not? I doubt they will care about "wasting their time."

I don't have the answer to that. I would call LSAC but I don't see it as impossible for them to charge the $12 report fee to send out new reports, so you may have to pay for that.

Just tell them to update it. An upward trend will be viewed nicely.

For everyone who was wondering I sent in an updated transcript to LSAC and the next day after they received it they sent out the updated version to all of the schools I applied to. It took my gpa from a 3.25 to a 3.30. Will it make a difference probably not but I feel like it was worth.
