Top Law Schools

Hi all. I'm applying to law school now and I am trying to figure out what my chances are of getting in to any of the schools a applied to and if they will award me any scholarship money. I found the "Law School Predictor" site and I think it gave me a rough idea of where to apply.

I have a 3.4 GPA at top tier private school and I got a 165 on the LSAT in October. My parents were born in Colombia but I was born in the USA (a friend told me that may help). I applied / will apply to: Vanderbilt, Washington University, Illinois, Indiana, Emory, Georgia, Wake Forrest, and SMU


I'll appreciate any help!!

yeh you might want to add some more realistic schools. i bet all those schools were listed as "consider" on LSP right? float down to bama, UF, george mason... for possible $$$

+1. 1 point higher and you're probably in at illinois and emory. 2 more points and wustl looks good.

Wow, thanks guys. Don't think I can retake but Im hearing that I have a good chance at a few of these schools, an outside chance at some others, and should apply to a couple of more safeties? Which ones would be good safeties to apply to with my numbers?

Sort of impossible to list safeties without knowing your geographical preference. Use the law school predictor (http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com/wp-co ... ograms.htm) to give yourself an idea of which schools could be considered safeties.
