i know this is probably annoying, but retake. if you got even a few points higher, you're a relative lock at every school on that list. i was annoyed when people told me to retake (not that i can relate to your GPA) with a score higher than yours, and it turned out to be a choice totally motivated by TLS, and a very wise move despite the advise of my family and friends to chill out.
UVA-Waitlist (they seem to find a lot of predictive ability in the LSAT, and might be hesitant to add in a 165)
Duke-Waitlist
Georgetown-In
Texas-In
Vanderbilt-WL
Emory-1/2 scholly
UGA-1/2 scholly
UNC-1/2 scholly
Alabama-Full ride (kind to people w your numbers)
Florida-1/2 scholly
But if you did get even a 167 or 168, you would probably be into all of these with some money to your top ones. You would also have a good shot at Berkley and NYU. If you could hit even the low 170s, you would probably get one bite out of HYS.

Hey sorry I'm not going to give you a rundown on your whole list but just wanted to throw out there that I have a 4.0 166 and it looks like I got 0 scholly from Alabama. I was really surprised by this (especially since LSN shows people with alot lower numbers getting alot more than 0), but based on my location and other schools I applied to they may have got the sense that they were my super safety. Who knows, but I hope its not indicative of the rest of my cycle.
Best of luck to you in your cycle.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of getting scholarship money this early in the cycle just because you haven't received it yet (assuming you applied this cycle). There is still plenty of time for that.

Should have applied ED to UVA a month or two ago. Someone on here with a 4.0/162 got in to UVA with ED.

Agreed. They'll W/L him, then maybe ask him if he is interested in their PT program, then if he says no, reject.

Try Cornell if you really want t-14 and really don't want to retake. That might work.

i figured with the 3.99, theyd forgive the 165. you really think 3.5 170 is that much better?

I would recommend adding some more T30s. You have modest to decent shots at BU, BC, GW, and WUSTL.

This is actually a good point. If the championship coach was Coach K last year then try Duke with his help. He has a ton of pull with basically anything on campus.

I had assumed the OP was OOS (only in-state non-URMs can usually get in with those numbers).

IDK I think you can get into one or more of UVA, Berk, Cornell, Texas, UCLA, USC, Duke....
Maybe i'm optimistic but your apps sound like they will be interesting... Good luck and add some schools.
TCR is probably retake and apply next year EARLIER.

Hey almost my numbers twin! How did you get a 3.99? I have over 90 units and even one B+ will pull me below that.
Anyways, I did ED to UVA, so that would be my advice

Hey guys, just a few updates. I am oos for Texas and UNC, and the coach I have worked under is Billy Donovan. I really don't want to retake next year because my grades have been slipping this semester due to some unfortunate events, and retaking this year is simply not an option with my work schedule. Also, I have a 3.99 because I have over 90 units and my school uses the minus scale where A-= 3.67. Appreciate all the predictions so far

Retake and get a 170. a 170 makes you a lock at a number of T14. You are in my same position. With high GPA's we almost have an obligation to retake if we end up with less than 170. December will be my first go at the LSAT, but anything below 170 and I fully plan on retaking.

Decided to add Indiana and Ohio State today. Thoughts on my numbers with these schools?
