Chance Me at UPenn

Post by DaveBear07 » Sat Nov 27, 2010 2:31 am

171, 3.8

Went complete 10/18, treated 5 year plan essay as essentially a Why Penn.

Best softs include: leadership positions, departmental scholarship and "best male in comunity service award."

Hit me with it TLS.

50% or less chance of accept, good chance at WL, small chance at outright reject

I would say 50% of getting in. http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com/wp-co ... ograms.htm. Dude, Penn's not that great. I think you should def apply from Berkeley through Duke, you'll def get into at least one if not two and all those schools are basically the same.

Eh, I'd go to MVP over Duke. If he want's east coast I wouldn't waste money on the Berk app. (unless its waived).

OP I highly doubt you don't get one of MVP. Your best shot is prob at Mich and your worst Penn looking at LSN from last year.

Thanks for the great responses, guys.

The ratio of Accept to WL in TLS stats is a little more favorable than LSN so I guess we'll just have to wait and see if I pull it out or not. (Self selection bias, I know-- although I hope to have the same fortune as other TLS'ers.)

Berkeley doesn't believe in fee waivers :)
