kinda iffy. with that GPA you need to have a better LSAT score IMO to make you competitive to make up for it.

Hm... maybe a shot at them if you give a good GPA addendum.... might as well try.. only $30 each.

My guess is out at UF, very small chance at FSU. If you didn't give it your all on the LSAT (meaning going through at least the previous 30 PTs or so) then try again. If you did, then aim for UM, I think you have a good shot there (if you don't mind the debt and being limited to the devastated miami market).

I was curious what you thought my prospects of getting in a UF would be. I have a 3.9 LSAC gpa and I taking the December 2010 LSAT and expect to make around 157-158 on it at this point. Do you think I would get in? By the way, I am not a florida resident or a URM.

On the line, I'd say you have a good shot.

It's a soft - they don't care about grad. GPA's too much because the rankings are done with the UG GPA.

You'll be able to get into FIU. Avoid Florida Coastal, Barry and Nova are overpriced for T4 schools and you'll graduate without a job in any option.. even FIU.
Consider that very closely.

You really don't think I can get into a better school than the ones you listed? I have friends with numbers similar to mine and weaker backgrounds and they got into better

I did miss UM - but since you're comparing FSU and UF, I'm thinking you want to stay in Florida.

You have a good shot at Stetson, which is really the only other school in the state worth going to. Avoid all the T4 schools unless you know for certain that you want to practice small-time law in those cities for the rest of your life.

Not true. You certainly have exit options eventually - they just might not be the best available.

and Disney School of Law. With a degree from there you could practice around the globe.
