URM: NA, Female

Post by halito » Fri Nov 12, 2010 8:33 pm

Where should I be applying? Any chance at T20?

LSAT wasn't as good as I had been PTing, but could only retake in Feb if at all for this cycle.

I would shoot applications at everything from about Columbia to GWU and see who bites and what kind of offers you get. The upper T14 probably won't, but you never know with URM admissions.

Every extra point on the LSAT helps, but by the time the February results come back, it's really late in the game and you could potentially miss out on a lot of money.

This. If you're unhappy with this cycle's results, then keep PTing, retake in June after putting some serious time in between now and then. Raising the LSAT even 5 points could legitimately be the difference between GW and CCN or maybe Harvard.
