Fee waivers..do they mean a whole lot?

I received more fee waivers than I care to count, including waivers to some of the T14 schools. These were unsolicited and were given to me based on my profile.
Is it a good sign when you get an unsolicited fee waiver? I would think it means you have the minimum GPA and lsat score, or ethnicity that they are looking for.
But, I realize the schools may be looking for 10,000 applicants so they can reject most of them and appear to be very selective.
I am Hispanic (not Mex or Puerto Rican) with a very high gpa from an Ivy, but a lower lsat score (163). I think the score sucks, but these schools are telling me they selected me for a fee waiver based on my score and academic record!
What has your experience been regarding unsolicited fee waivers (not based on financial need). Have the schools that sent you the waivers accepted you?
