Top Law Schools

I am an AA Female with a 3.45 from a fairly difficult major at a top ten university (Duke) and a 162 LSAT score what are my chances of getting into:

Michigan
Northwestern
Stanford
NYU
Columbia
Emory
U.Chicago
William and Mary
UNC-Chapel Hill?

I am also trying to decide whether i Should retake in December.

no idea but I have a 3.7, 169 and people on here have told me I have no shot at most of the schools you have mentioned. WIth that in mind i suggest you retake....

you think its gonna make a 7 pt lsat dif and a 2.5 pt dif in gpa difference???? I have a hard time believing AA has that pronounced of an effect. I'd think shes gotta shoot for at least 165 for the t-14...

OP you should retake in december if you think you can improve. from where you stand right now you have a shot a some of those schools. (namely, UNC WM) i'm sure there is someone that can give you a more detailed analysis.

not all of the schools she listed are t-14.

Yeh - it will make that big of a difference in certain cases.

I was going to make a joke about Brett Favre's penis-size, but instead I'll just go with this: you're dumb.

Some T-14 will bite, assuming you can produce a well-crafted PS and don't have a vanilla background, but knowing which one is a crapshoot.

AA can easily have that pronounced an effect.

You need to retake the lsat.

That being said, as of now you have a shot at NYU and Michigan, and UVA, georgetown, cornell, Duke. The chances are not good enough to not retake however.
