I'm trying to get my applications out between now and Thanksgiving.
I have 2 years of WE. Double majored in Poli Sci/Phil.
I had one bad semester in UG (2.5 GPA), if you don't include that semester I have a 3.6 GPA.

Are there other T14s that are in reach?
G-town is a particular interest.
Where do you think money might be available?

Doubt you would get much if any money in t14. But ED to NW would be almost a sure thing. ED to UVA would be a good shot as well.
I think you stand a solid chance at Gtown as well.

I think you have a chance at money from some good t15-t20 schools.
But usually most $$$ is saved for people who are at least above/at or above/above both medians...and you would be above/below.

And that is of course for the purpose of boosting the schools numbers, so a GPA addendum pointing out that I am a 3.6 student with one bad semester isn't going to change that?

Right. Especially since 3.6 would still be below median.

If only I could retake undergrad to boost my chances.

Damn dude. I have the exact same WE and GPA, with a 172, and you've crushed my cycle. Michigan with money? UVA? Shit, son. Well done. I haven't even heard from Vandy yet! Where are you planning on going?

I'm not sure - waiting for word on money from some places. That will make all the difference in the world.

Yeah, I'd take Vandy with $ over Penn at sticker for sure.
