I think I have a slim chance to get into Chicago, what do you guys think?

3.8 GPA from Tier One, good softs, 167 and a 169 LSAT score, and my father went to Chicago Law. The school is my top choice and I'm eding.

I'm hoping to at least get waitlisted, then retake the LSAT and hope for higher in February. Worth it?

ahhh apply ED
AND retake and break 170! You can do it!

also, you're PS needs to be sick. Make EVERYONE you know read it and help you. If you know someone who is in creative writing, let them help you paint a picture with it.

Somewhat slim, but worth it-- and apply elsewhere just in case

Thanks for the encouragement! I've been pretty bummed after my recent LSAT score - was PTing mid 170s and I felt that I really rocked the test that day so I was pretty devastated.

Glad I still have a chance to reach for the dream :)

I think you have a pretty good shot actually...the alumni status will help, and you are only a couple points away from a really good shot )(w/o the legacy status).
