Ive heard that northwestern rarely accepts students who do not have WE. Is it worth the app for someone straight out of undergrad (3.7,169)?? Also would ED at chicago be completely out of the question??

My guess is that those numbers won't cut it w/o WE. Every year they offer a few students w/o WE a full ride provided they defer a year and work.

yea thats what I was thinking. What about the ED at chicago, I'm leaning toward it being a waste of an ED and if thats case I'm trying to gauge what would be a reasonable place to use it?? Penn?

Not Penn. Maybe Michigan.

ED UMich, imo.

Cornell and UMich seem like your best bets for the T14.

Maybe Georgetown. But Michigan is a better school.

ya just not too into the idea of being in Michigan for three years. Cities are preferable...

GULC is almost definitely a waitlist at 3.7/169.

I wouldn't let your desire to live in a city for 3 years restrict your school choices. You can move to a city when you get a job after law school. If you really want a T14 in a city, I would retake. Heck I would probably retake no matter what.

With your numbers, both NU and Chicago are out, with or without ED or WE.

really?? NU median lsat is 170 and gpa is 3.7 I have a hard time believing that being one point lower than the median auto rules me out regardless of WE

You're below both medians - their GPA median is 3.8 this year - so that's an auto-reject.

All you guys give terrible advice, lol.

ED to Chicago and apply RD everywhere else, simple.
