3.71/160, 163, AA Female

Hi, all. I'm an AA female with a 3.71 GPA, graduated cum laude at a non-HYP Ivy. I took the LSAT in Sept '09 and got a 160. I took the test again this October and got a 163.
So I guess I have two questions--what chances do I have to get into T30 schools with the numbers I have now? Is it worth it to retake in December and apply later with the hopes of getting a better score? I really believe i can do better--around a 167-168.
Thanks in advance for your responses!

If you can do better, do better. A 167 could land you at a t6. A 163 can land you at a t14.
Good luck!

I think if you can break 165+ you have a pretty good shot at T6. I know an AA female with a 3.7 165 who got U of Chi. Good luck!

Wow, totally missed this.
I agree with the above poster. Blanket the T14. You shouldn't even bother applying to any law schools below T20.

Thanks for all the responses! I've created a study plan for the next 5 weeks. So hopefully I can reach my target score for December.

If you get the LSAT up to a 167- I think you should definitely be in Penn, Duke, UVA, Northwestern, Georgetown, and Cornell (with $$$).
Chicago, NYU, UC-Berkeley, and Michigan also become very strong possibilities..
