Chicago is a tough market to crack. You need a higher score to get into a school (namely UChi) that will make you competitive. Illinois is your best bet if you want Chicago. As for your chances, I know someone who got into Illinois with similar numbers, with $, but he came from Illinois undergrad as an electrical engineering major (Illinois seems to be one of the schools that's willing to bend the numbers for grade deflated majors), so if you come from a hard science/engineering background that will likely bolster your chances. Overall, with a solid application package you have a very decent chance of being accepted.
