Chances at Cornell and UCLA? Or any school in t14 for that matter?


If I ED at UCLA, EA at Texas and Cornell, can I register for the december lsat and still have my applications reviewed?

Downward grade trend. MIP of alcohol sophomore year. t25 undergrad (UCLA)

Best thing to do is call all these schools and ask. They may have different policies. I wouldn't ED at UCLA by the way. Not worth the debt.

I have heard UCLA places well in LA/OC so if thats where you want to stay then its not a bad choice. What school range are you at? I was under the impression by your profile that you were applying this year and in undergrad at the moment?

It does place well. But even these stats are largely pre-economic implosion. California is in deep shit. There are many fewer jobs that pay enough to pay off sticker in a timely manner. That's why it's just not worth it.

I'm at Vandy with a little over half scholarship. And I'm scared shitless.

If you graduate top 25% (i dont know if thats reasonable for you) then wont you be okay? I have heard those graduating up to about top 1/3rd r doing okay. But im sure you would knwo more then most at the moment

I thought after your first year you should know where (around) in the class you are placing?

Yes, you should, Rad is a 1L. And every OL and 1L should be scared shitless about finding a job unless they are at HYS and maybe CCN.

That is the NLJ250. Which is the 250 biggest firms in the country. Outside of those firms, and including some of those firms, there are very few other firms that pay anywhere close to market. There are some small boutiques that do, but those are rare. For most purposes, that is the best indicator of the amount of people getting market (six figure) jobs from each school. Most of the rest either got government jobs or low paying (40k) shitlaw jobs.
