GPA: 3.82, LSAT: 163
Softs: Cum Laude, 2 scholarships, very active on campus - leadership positions in clubs and honor societies
WE: 2 years upon entering; work involves administering grants and running events at a not-for-profit
LOR's: Strong LOR's - 2 from professors and 1 from my boss

I have applied to the following schools (many reaches because I received fee waivers for a bunch, maybe because I am Hispanic):

Baylor, BC, BU, Boalt, UCLA, Colorado, Duke, Emory, UF, FSU (accepted), Fordham, UGA, UH, Illinois, Indiana, Loyola LA, Michigan, NYU, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Penn, USC, Temple, Texas, Tulane, Vandy, UVA, Villanova, Wake

What are my chances at these schools, especially the Top-25? What about $$$ at any of the schools closer to 50?

Just offhand, I know you're almost assuredly not gonna get BC, BU, Boalt, UCLA, Duke, Emory, Fordham, UGA, Illinois, Michigan, NYU, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Penn, USC, Texas, Vandy, UVA

Retake if you really are into a few of those.

Also, where you you want to work? You can't get into any national or strong regional schools.

What were the cutoffs for magna and summa?

At my school, which has an average of 3.32, cum laude is 3.25, magna is 3.5, and summa is 3.75 for arts & sciences.

Not sure, I think 3.85 for magna and 3.85 with a required thesis for summa.

If you are Mexican or Puerto Rican, that is the case. If you are any other type of Hispanic, your boost at most schools will range from slight to nonexistent.

I suggest figuring out where in the country you want to live ASAP.

Any of the regions the schools to which I applied are located would be fine.

It's interesting how everyone is telling you that you won't get into BC/BU, etc. but all those damn predictors give you a fighting chance. Who is correct here?

Worth applications. Both have median LSAT of 166, possibly 167 this year.

Gemini/Blind: Thanks for the advice...the advice of previous posters seems to follow the generally negative attitude displayed by many on TLS. Granted, I understand that many of the schools I'm applying to are big reaches.

For reverse-splitters in your range, LSN is far more reliable than LSP, especially since medians at many of the T30 have gone up. You definitely have a shot (of varying degrees) at BU, BC, UGA, Indiana, and Illinois, but it's far from a sure thing.

If you want to work in Philadelphia, Temple is a decent choice. You will most definitely get in, maybe with some $$.

You're being too pessimistic. I'm an ORM with pretty much the same stats (3.82/164) and above average but non game-changing softs and got into BC, Notre Dame, and W&M with a good amount of money. I can't imagine that there's a world of a difference between 163 and a 164 in the eyes of AdComms.

The T14 are unfortunately pipe-dreams w/o a retake.
