Top Law Schools

I am writing on behalf of my non-urm white male friend (still in UG) who has a 4.0 GPA and 163 & 172 LSAT score; my friend goes to a decent midwestern school (and FWIW is from the midwest as well).  My friend was wondering about his chances at HLS and SLS (possibly a waitlist?), and whether he can expect to get at least one of CCN.  Also is it reasonable for him to only pick a few T-14s as safeties (e.g., Georgetown; Duke)?

Those were roughly my stats (I had a slightly lower GPA but had really good WE/LoR and also a slightly higher first LSAT etc.) I got into CCN, rejected from SLS and wait-listed at HLS. Duke/Gtown are probably safeties, but I don't know for sure.
