Hmmm.. That wasn't on my radar, but I'll definitely take a look at it. Also I was looking at Chapman University (to add to my list of Cali schools). Does anyone have any thoughts on them?

do your research on those schools. Only like the top handful of kids actually get decent jobs. You prob need to be top 10% at those schools to transfer to schools like hastings/davis.. etc.

Do your research and do not take their salary or employment data at face value.

If you're looking to go into IP you should probably pursue a graduate degree. Bio majors don't have much to offer firms with only a bachelors degree. Of course this is only relevent if you are only interested in Patent Prosecution.

And if you want to work in specific areas you need to apply heavily in their areas. U of Miami probably won't take you back to California.

Cool, thank you for your advice so far. Yea, there are some schools that aren't in a heavy IP market but I would like to apply to these schools to just in case I do decide to not pursue a career in IP law. I feel like I would like to attend the best law school possible for me. So that is why I include schools like University of Miami, Florida State and Georgia State. Id love to know my chances for getting into schools like that.`

Nobody is going to hire you for patents with a 2.6 BS in Bio.

Stick with sport journalism. Even a dead industry will be better than your shot at law.

I am not sure I want to do IP law, it is just an area that I am interested in. What are my chances for some 2nd tier schools? Mid to late tier 2 schools are what I'm looking at. Maybe schools like USF, Santa Clara, Penn State, Florida State, Hofstra, UOP, Chapman, University of San Diego, University of Miami, LSU, American U, Catholic U, Syracuse, Gonzaga, University of South Carolina, Marquette are the main schools on my mind. What is the outlook for applying go these type of schools?
Enjoy massive debt.

You need to retake to have a shot at anywhere worthwhile.
