Top Law Schools

I'm trying to decide if/where to apply early. I have a lot of legacy at cornell and like it there a lot but might choose another t14 over it if I got in.

Does applying early really confer an advantage? What schools do I have the best chances at? Am I competitive for $ anywhere (pref. East coast).
