161/3.8
Im thinking of applying to the following places what do you think my chances are:
1. GW (part time)
2. American
3. George Mason
4. Catholic
5. Washington and Lee
6. William and Mary
7. Villanova
I have amazing LORs and my personal statement is quite good as well. I have a lot of work experience in human rights, I was a staffer in an organization throughout my time in college (I got promoted from intern). Do you think I will get into one of the DC schools?

Yes you will.
BUT
do you want to really waste your 3.8? That's good enough for HYS with higher LSAT score.

You are my numbers twin. 161/3.88
Yes, I might also be wasting the GPA. But that 161 was my second time taking the LSAT as well, so I decided that I am taking what I have and hoping my other parts of my application boost me. If I don't get in anywhere I want to go then I will retake in June again for a third time and hope I hit the 164-167 range I was averaging on the LSAT before June 2010.
George Washington said I would be competitive for them, and I just applied to American. I am also looking at W&M and BC.
I'm actually looking at a lot of schools as I'm torn between staying in Cali or moving back east...

Try for a third time? You are far enough below your range that it would be worth it.queenlizzie13 wrote:You are my numbers twin. 161/3.88

GW lied, American is not worth going to. No clue about W&M, but probably out at BC.
The other parts of your app will probably not boost you. That's just how it goes.
