Anyone?

What I am wondering most of all is what are my chances for HYS, Columbia and Berkeley? Where in the T14 am I most likely to pick up scholarship dollars ? Will that first 167 hurt me badly at the above schools?

PS

Thank you TLS I never would have retaken the LSAT even tough I knew I had the potential to do better (always struggled with games).

With TLS helping me understand the importance of the LSAT I went from too intimidated to take a real pt, to a 160 on my first diag in February to 167 on the test in June to 174 on my retake in October. Happy halloween TLSers and thank you for always posting retake even when I hated you for it :D :D :D

I think you have a great shot at all of them. Perhaps if you include mvp you will be looking at substantial money.
I think SYH will depend on you softs/type of work experince.
Why the selection of schools, are you interested in IP?

Virtual number twin and a retaker.

HYS: will be tough, but that WE should probably help.
CCN: probably in all three.
MVP: In at all and probably $$/$$$ (unless you get YPed, which you might)
Berkley is so full of itself that you might get WLed, but likely still IN.
Cornell, Gtown and UCLA probably in with full rides and I'm not sure about YP.

everyone's prob out too busy partying up for halloween weekend or wallowing in self-pity due to their LSAT scores...so ill give your question a go (since im stuck at home working on an open memo anyways...)

oh snap, just saw your LSDAS GPA in parentheses haha...rewrote my whole post. i say most likely out at HYS now. your 3 yrs work experience and ugrad prestige help, but maybe not enough. though these schools seem to really want ppl w/ work experience these days, as evidenced by HLS' increase of incoming students who have been out of ugrad for 1 yr or more (swelled to 72%), HLS also didnt dip below 3.7 that much.

adjust accordingly for the lower ranked schools, w/ obviously great chances at UCLA, Cornell, Gtown...even at MVP id say prob better than 70% shot.

CCN closer to 50/50...berk, because it is such a GPA lover, will prob ding you.

the 167 will hurt you at HYS, but the degree of hurt diminishes as you go down the rankings.

According to his profile his LSDAS GPA is a 3.9... that's what I went with when I wrote my recommendation. His post is ambiguous in that respect.

Hi -

Thanks everyone - to clear up any confusion

my LSAC GPA is 3.86, my degree granting is 3.67

I picked the schools because I like NY and the Bay area and would like to be in a city - but am not going to turn down HYS - no special interest in IP

oh wow, so i DIDNT have to rewrite my post! hahahaha

in that case, go w/ what Ragged said..in fact, id be even a bit more optimistic about HS than ragged due to your WE and T20 -- not amazing chances, but i like it better than a coin toss for sure

I think you're 40-50% for HYS, and in everywhere else.
