3.2, 158 (Oct 2010 ) science major

I am from Texas, and wanted SMU so bad. I got a 158 on the Oct 2010 LSAT tho
. Sooo disappointed, was PTing at ~165 but got a two 168 and a 170. But anyways, I got a weak consider at SMU from LSP. Where do I stand on:
1) SMU (PT or FT)
2) LSU
3) UM
4) or where ever I should go w/those numbers if I want to stay/live in the south.

if you feel you can do better, re take in december. Have you application sent out early, they wont read it until that final score is out. However, the final score isnt sent out until jan 10, so you wont be complete until very late in the game. Call SMU on monday, and ask for their advice. They will give you some good advice. IF your score will get you in to your safety schools, send the applications out while you contemplate your decision. Even if you decide to retake, you can contact the school and tell them your prediciment. They will be understanding

ps i got a 158 as well. 157-161 is no mans land. Good enough for some schools ( but your application will depend heavily on essays and resumes), but not great enough for auto admits!
