I'm a long time lurker and first time poster. I would appreciate any feedback. I have these stats and graduated from Cal. URM- Mexican American, First generation college graduate. I'm also a non-trad & current stay at home mom. I do have years of work experience also. I need to stay in Southern California due to family. Any thoughts on my chances at Loyola or Pepperdine? I'm pretty certain that UCLA & USC are out of the question. I have all my materials/apps ready to go.

I have a friend who had 157 3.7 URM and got into Pepperdine with some money, and got waitlisted at UCLA (ultimately rejected), so I would think you're probably strong for Pepperdine at the very least.

I didn't want to hear that. Although, I kind of expected it. This was my second time taking the test. In June I cancelled because I knew I did horrible on the games. Won't it look bad taking it a third time?

No. Schools generally do not care. 2-5 pts will do wonders for you. If you are doing poorly on the logic games section. Get the logic games bible. That is the easiest section to improve.

Logic games is the only section that I consistenly get -1 to -3 wrong. It is LR that I have the hardest time with.

I actually have the entire series. I studied for about 4 months total for both June & October. I was averaging low 160's on my PT's with my highest at a 164. I did all of the most recen tests (PT38-59). I'm not sure what happened especially with Oct. The pdf's aren't available so I can't even see where I made the most mistakes.
