I think WL and 50/50 if you are in or not. You have a decent shot.

Proceed with caution at American. The DC job market is saturated beyond belief. Check out the employment section about DC recruiting. Please do more research on American. Do not take American's job placement at face value.

they are in the same class as American. Prob WL/ 50/50 You should be able to get into one of them.

In my opinion... going to American, Brooklyn and Cardozo will give you similar career prospects as Upitt and Case. The only diff is that it is not in NYC. Upitt and Case will give you money and theoretically are less competitive because they have lower lsat/gpa medians.

Hi! I have a 159 and a 3.54. American is my #1 choice but I have been hearing from some others that I have no shot at all.

Do you think that it would help to apply ED if American is my #1?

I guess you can apply ED at American. YOu have a decent chance. Check Lawschoolnumbers.com and the last cycle. You will prob be WL.

WHy dont you hedge your risks. Apply ED at American. THen retake LSAT. if you get your lsat score before american accepts you ED and your score is a lot higher, WD from the ED.

Also, proceed with extreme caution at carbozo/american. These are extremely hard times. Don't take the placement data at face value.

Good advice from thexfactor, especially on the employment prospects from these schools.

Obligatory "retake." I bet you can score in the 160s, which can open up better schools and scholarship opportunities for you.

Again, like everyone said proceed with caution, especially at sticker. But, anyway:

American: IN with ED probably, 50/50 without

Brooklyn: 50/50 with ED, Otherwise probably out

Cardozo: IN Part-Time, Out Full-Time


How intensely did you study for your first LSAT? Just a few points higher and you're in at all of these schools and probably some better ones as well. I would suggest a retake. Good luck with your cycle.

This is a terrible, terrible idea. Withdrawing from an ED contract is not something other law schools will take lightly, even if you try to reapply in future cycles.

Retaking is still TCR.

Hmm.. i think you might want to check the school's ED policy. The one I EDed at 2 years ago said that I could withdraw my ED application at any time before there was an acceptance.

RC fail on my part. I thought you meant the OP should withdraw AFTER being accepted ED.
