I'm an electrical engineer at a school notoriously hard for grading (7 4.0s since 1903) with a cum. GPA of 3.3 and 165 LSAT. 3.85 average in my last 4 quarters, but one bad semester that gave me a 1.9. I'm planning to do patent law, have work experience at fortune 400 engineering companies and a big law firm in Milwaukee doing patent illustrations and helping with patent applications. Spent one summer living in Haiti doing volunteer work to install wind turbines/solar panels. Anyone care to guess what my chances might be at U Washington and UCLA? I know UCLA is a big reach, but I'm hoping I might be fairly competitive at U Wash.

I take it you're not a WA resident? You have a better shot at UW, but it's still not great

I was rejected with a 3.23 / 164, so probably not good. They like GPA and residents.
