2.8 GPA/155/164 retake LSAT
Hi can someone help me out by letting me know my chances of getting into UC Hastings under LEOP and Early Decisions? Thanks so much. Also any suggestions as to where to apply?
I'm not African American or Hispanic but I am an English language learner if that counts for anything.
I also worked full time through college to help support my family at home and I paid for my own education.
I went to a top UC for undergrad

I appreciate the advice but what If I can't/don't improve my score the 3rd time?

Then worry about that if it comes to that. But just fyi, you can always petition for a 4th retake.hockeypro7 wrote:I appreciate the advice but what If I can't/don't improve my score the 3rd time?
A 166+ will give you a fighting chance at splitter friendly schools.

I assume from your username that you are a professional hockey player. You definitely should not give that up to go to law school.hockeypro7 wrote:Hi can someone help me out by letting me know my chances of getting into UC Hastings under LEOP and Early Decisions? In relations to OP's question, I think you have a decent chance of admittance through the LEOP program. You should write a strong PS talking about how you had to support your family through college and that as a result it made your GPA suffer, etc etc. From my understanding, LEOP applicants are not just minority groups, they are people who have demonstrated whatever challenges they faced as well as overcoming adversity in general.
