According to LSN, the only people that got into Columbia with that LSAT score are URMs. I don't think you have a good shot at any of the schools with a 163-6. I would retake.

you definitely won't get into Boalt because you can't spell "Berkeley" (so common and so annoying on TLS)

Ditto.
I def. think you should retake if you want a strong chance of getting in. You def. have good softs.

I'll add that I am half mexican, half white. So will probably be checking the hispanic and white boxes on the application.

Then you will probably be getting into the T6.

See how your LSAT actually turns out, then come back.

I doubt that would be the reason for a rejection.

My question: Are you sure you ever want to work in your life?

Yes, of course I want to work.

Just make sure to spell Berkeley correctly in the application. I think I checked the name five times before I actually submitted mine! If you are a URM, your chances are a little better, but I still think it would be beneficial to retake the LSAT. If you don't want to do that, I would throw in a few applications to lower-ranked schools. You don't really have any safety schools on the list.

Yes, I know I'll get flamed for this but really, it's sad that the difference between a 166 and a 170 on the LSAT in comparison with all the other things the OP has going for him/her is such a determining factor, particularly when the deviation between those two scores could easily overlap.

So... what?

Why? It's not as if it's an either-or, and any candidate with an LSAT score 4 points higher can't have the exact same (or better) soft credentials.
