I had a friend with the same GPA i believe and a 173 with solid LORs and he got waitlisted and then rejected at Columbia

you're at 1 median and below the other, so i'm not sure that it's too promising, but definitely a 40-45% shot

I don't know if it makes a difference but my great grandpa went to CLS.

With those numbers, I'd play it safe and apply ED to NYU.
