looks good. You won't make GW ED, but you have a solid shot at RD. Otherwise, you can add schools ranked 20-30 at your discretion.

I would add Fordham and BU, and remove Illinois since you're below both medians there (3.80/167).

I actually disagree re: a solid shot at GW RD; he's below both medians. OP, certainly apply if you like the school (I did with slightly worse numbers, WL -> ding), but know that its a reach, not a target. Probably the same with Illinois.

Add Fordham, unless you don't like NYC. BU would be another reach (167 seems to be the magic number there), but certainly an "urban setting" and in your ballpark range.

What does "looking urban setting" mean? Because if it means you're looking for an urban setting, W&L is damn near the least urban you're going to possibly get for a law school.

Other than that, I think you're pretty much on the money with your targets. Be sure to apply asap. Don't wait until February.

Also, Georgia is very not urban. There is a town, but it's lacking all the benefits of urban life. It's seriously a whole down of bars and convenience stores.

On W&L and Georgia, I'm willing to go to a more rural area for the scholarship. I will get no, absolutely no help from my family on the financial front for this, so if I get a good scholarship to a T1 in a state I want to settle down in, I'm willing to miss the city for a few years

Cool, just remember that most GA folks work in GA. The (singular) "big" city is Atlanta, so make sure you'd want to live there for at least a while.

Disclaimer: I'm from just south of Atlanta, and I hate the city, so I'm biased.

Would live in Atlanta in a millisecond. My dad grew up down around there and by transitive properties, I grew up hearing the stories, becoming a Braves fan, etc
