I have a 3.36 GPA and a 180 LSAT. Worth it to ED to Columbia or NYU? Do I have significantly better chances at these schools ED versus RD?

I would say NYU as looking on LSN they seem to be more forgiving to random applicants whose numbers are not necessarily up to snuff. They are more random green dots on the NYU graph than on the CLS graph.

I think if you went ED to Columbia you might get it. But NYU is the safer bet.

Looks like there are a bunch of us 180s with low GPAs angling for NYU. If we all get in, we should start the killed LSAT, UG killed me club.

Looking at LSN again, I think you could wing a CLS ED if you were serious. Someone got screwed on a 3.39/179 RD at CLS last cycle, whereas a 3.4/179 RD got in, so while NYU ED is a better shot, I think you can pull of CLS ED, if you think the increased prestige, elite law placement, etc. is worth the marginal tradeoff in chances of getting in.

He applied relatively late for a splitter too.
Get your app in now RD and I bet you get into one of them and get $ from T7-14 if you want.

If you are dead set on either CLS or NYU, I would ED to CLS personally, I think you are good RD at NYU and probably need the ED boost to have a fighters chance at Columbia.
