Judging from the wrong forum post, i'm guessing he posted it in the legal employment forum, where you can post anonymously, and then a mod recognized it was in the wrong forum and moved it over here.

I was more surprised by the post count... 9k+ post count for this type of question looks suspicious.

I think that is the post count for all anonymous posts, not the post count of an individual trying to be anonymous; that would kind of defeat the point .

I think that 9k is the number of all anonymous posts to date, not the post count of that specific anonymous poster.

Ahh, i'm an idiot. I could have sworn that I saw an anonymous poster a few weeks ago that had a post count of a couple hundred. Thanks for clearing that up.
