The 170 is a retake after a poor 161. I have also studied abroad twice. However I received a MIP my first semester freshman year.
Do I have a chance at USC or UCLA? I am also applying to Loyola...
Any feedback would be appreciated...

You have a pretty good shot at UCLA, and an excellent one at USC. I'd try for UCLA.

I would be happy with either...Should I write separate personal statements or early decision? I read somewhere that ED doesn't do much for UCLA.

Don't forget about UCI. You'll most likely get in and receive whatever scholarship they are giving out next year. Good luck.

Also, would it make a difference either way if I apply for the joint JD/ Masters program?

Stop posting in both threads, it is unnecessary and clutters the forums. I would suggest using the other thread and stop using this one since that one has more replies.
