UGA out-of-state chances

Soooo, I am planning on applying early to UGA, and am debating retaking the LSAT...I have a 164 and a 3.5 and ok (I think?) softs (i.e. editor of college newspaper, a few internships)...according to lsn, it seems like those are ok numbers for UGA, but I'm not sure if that's for in-staters. Any thoughts on my chances of getting in out-of-state?? Any UGA out-of-state admits out there with some stats (or any tls chance-predicting experts)? Thanks guys!

I think you'll get in if you apply really early (i.e. September) according to last year's cycle.

164 seemed to be the number to get into UGA last year. However, with their recent jump in USNWR, UGA may be trying to raise median again this year. If that's the case, then 164 may not do it.

With all that said, definitely apply early. You have a good shot.

You should probably make sure you write a compelling "Why X" essay. You're going to need to tell them why you're interested in the school since you are OOS and might have borderline numbers.

got dinged with a 162/3.5 out-of-state. Your chances are better than mine but it's still iffy. They certainly prefer Georgia residents.
