I'd say good shot at Boalt, Mich, Cornell if you refuse to retake.

You got perfect Berkeley/Boalt numbers. Median LSAT for 2010 (1 below for 2009) and are about 75th for GPA, and they weight GPA more heavily than LSAT. Ranked in a tie for #7.

Wasting that GPA with a 167 is pretty dumb IMO.

we're all thinking this, but it doesn't answer the OP's question.

Maybe worth a shot at Penn? At their 25 for LSAT but well above the 75 for GPA. If you apply early decision, it *might* pay off.

OP will get into every non-T14.

Of the T14 the likely schools are: Boalt, Michigan, Duke, Northwestern and Cornell.

It's also worth applying to UVa and Penn.

But to emphasize my point, a 171+ will make a world of difference. Especially if the top public is UVa, Michigan, or Berkeley.

unrealistic reach: yale, harvard, stanford, columbia, duke
realistic reach: chicago, nyu, penn, berkeley, michigan, virginia, georgetown
target: cornell, northwestern, ucla
strong target: gw
safety: usc, vandy, texas, emory, wustl, illinois, notre dame, fordham, bc, bu

I'd call Berkeley more than a realistic reach; more like a target school. He was at the LSAT median for 2010 (-1 for 2009) and has a high GPA, >75th for a school that favors GPA.

You would be in at UVA ED if that's a route you'd be willing to take.

consider retaking for a 172 plus, put you on range at HYSCC. A 4.05 Gpa is a waste at a lower t14 IMO. Your in anything lower than Cornell.Aim higher tho!
