Why do you need to be IN Los Angeles?Maddy27 wrote:What schools in LOS ANGELES do you think I have a good chance of getting accepted to ?

Regardless, you need to retake to make up for your 3.1 GPA.

no where worth going to with your sub-par GPA and LSAT. You must retake, a 3.1 GPA is going to screw you over. You may be able to swing a t30 if you get a 170+, but even then, its doubtful. Seriously consider if you really want to go to law school.

You have a shot at Loyola (50/50). You are in at Southwestern.Maddy27 wrote:What schools in LOS ANGELES do you think I have a good chance of getting accepted to ?

I'm wondering why you keep posting and why your numbers keep changing.

Note she said has been scoring "175+" on pts, not on the official test. Perhaps the 160 is a previous score. Just saying.

Maybe. either way, too many posts on the topic. all details should have been disclosed in one post. how else can we give any decent advice?StrictlyLiable wrote:Note she said has been scoring "175+" on pts, not on the official test. Perhaps the 160 is a previous score. Just saying.

I disagree with this. A 172+ will get OP into NU ED, and possibly one of MVP as well (ED).lawschool2014 wrote:You may be able to swing a t30 if you get a 170+, but even then, its doubtful. Seriously consider if you really want to go to law school.

Lawschool2014, you are seriously underestimating how much a 170+ LSAT will make up for a low GPA.

Re: 160 LSAT 3.1 GPA
Is it that hard to answer the OP's question?
(1) OP did not ask what schools she could get into if she had a better LSAT score.
(2) OP did not ask whether it would be worth attending a school in Los Angeles she could get into with those numbers.

If somebody asks "where should I eat Pizza Hut or Dominos?" I don't think there's anything wrong with suggesting different, better, pizza places.

Actually, there is. You are just being a dick. You clearly have no knowledge of the schools he would be considering.Kilpatrick wrote:If somebody asks "where should I eat Pizza Hut or Dominos?" I don't think there's anything wrong with suggesting different, better, pizza places.
I'm not sure you can fault someone for getting a 160 on the LSAT. It is 84th Percentile (or so).

OP, how the fuck do you go from a 175 to a 160? You're obviously bullshitting in one of these posts.
