I have a 3.2 GPA and a received a 168 on my LSATs. I graduated from SUNY Buffalo and am looking to head to law school fall of 2012. Does anyone have similar stats? I'm really set on Fordham but I'm also looking at New York Law, Buffalo, Villanova and Brooklyn. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Aim higher than you are. Take a look at my cycle for what might be possible. (But account for different geographic preferences.)

my first suggestion would be to remove New York Law from your list....add cardozo if you want to be in nyc...and maybe rutger for a bargain buy...you will get decent money from cardozo, brooklyn, and rutgers

you will prob have a decent shot at FOrdham Part time.

Do not consider New York Law, Brooklyn Law or Cardozo. These are horrible horrible diploma mill law schools. Fordham is only average, but the other law schools on your list are just bad

This person is right. But, even at Fordham, you must do really well to pay back your law school debt. The odds are stacked against you here.

LSP sucks, especially for splitters. I am getting really freakin' tired of people responding to "What are my chances?" threads with "LSP!!!!" LSP is not helpful for a 168/3.2, and it is nowhere near as helpful as LSN. OP, check out lawschoolnumbers.com to gauge your chances.

Do not go to Dozo, Brooklyn, or Rutgers. You have a 168 for Christ's sake.

You have a shot at acceptances (and perhaps even money) from a number of ~T20 schools. Apply to UMN, UIUC, ND, GW, and WUSTL and you will likely get in with a little money from a few of these. Fordham FT is probably an uphill battle, but PT is possible. Dunno if the cost would be worth it though.

A retake may also be TCR, if you think you can do better. Another couple of points brings the bottom T14 into play.
